Idyllily Wild

Idyllily Wild is the most recent story I’ve been working on. I’ve been posting the chapters on Kindle Vella as I get them finished – https://www.amazon.com/kindle-vella/story/B0BNT4NHVX.

The story follows the life of a young woman named Lily, who suddenly becomes an orphan and is left to the care of her uncle, whom she had never met before. She finds adjusting to her new life difficult, but finds some new friends in her cousin, Luella and Hannah, a neighbor’s daughter.

I love this story and my main character, Lily, who is a bit stubborn and willful. She finds her uncle stubborn as well and is often at odds with him. But she is overall a kind young lady, who loves her cousin and grandparents and uses the privileges of her uncle’s wealth to help them whenever she can.

Lily learns a lot about wealth and poverty and teaches her uncle about his responsibilities for helping those less fortunate than he is.

I’m about 2/3’s of the way done with this story. I’m hoping to finish this spring. It feels like there is a 2nd book after this one is done because there are too many story threads left unexplored.

If you like the story please leave me a comment.
