The Garden of Your Mind
Discussion question 1 for The Garden of Your Mind:
What weeds have you identified as being planted in the garden of your mind as a child?
For me, the most persistent weed that was planted was that of me having no value or worth.
The Garden of Your Mind discussion question 2:
What is God’s truth that you need to replace that weedy lie with?
Since my weedy lie was that I had no value or worth, I had to remind myself that God loves me just the way I am. Not for what I do but because I am his child.
Remember to do this for 21 days to uproot the lie and then 21 more days to replace it with the truth.
The processing prompt for The Garden of Your Mind instructs us to scribble. I used watercolors. This is my mess.

Then I looked to see if I could see anything in the painting and focused on those. This is the result.

The first thing I saw was that girl toward the bottom, then the path which turned into a set of stairs with a door at the top. We don’t know what’s beyond the door, but I know it’s good. And of course the dogpigodile just completed the picture, haha.
God takes the scribbled mess of our lives and creates beauty and sometimes, humor.
